We are starting by offering our ever coveted multi-colored Alternate Avenues pen.  We would like you to offer something “better” in exchange for the pen.  Be creative, remember one mans treasure is another mans junk.

I will be monitoring the items offered for bid, when I see one that is better than the previous bid (I get to be the final arbiter on this) I will make the exchange.  The new item will then be offered for bid and a new better item will be sought.

That’s all there is to it.  Just like Kyle MacDonald I am hoping to have someone waiting in the wings to make this a grand event.  When the right item is offered on the site, I have approached several car dealers to be ready to trade a car for the right item.   Let’s get something enticing up there soon.

That car will then belong to Alternate Avenues.  No I am not looking for a new company vehicle; it will be used as a bid item and to promote our on-line auction in September.  So check out our links to the video and story behind one red paper clip, then get ready to bid.

Kyle took one year to bid up to a house, we have two months to bid up to a car, but hey, I’m starting with a pen.  Best of all babies will live and families will be changed because of your generosity.
